Position: Exercise Physiologist
Josh was born and raised in Western Sydney where he lived before moving to various locations throughout Sydney’s eastern and southern areas with his wife. Together, they made the move to Wollongong in February 2021. Throughout his life, Josh has played a variety of sports but has always had a passion for field hockey, having been involved in a range of competitions as both a player and a coach. Josh also enjoys skiing and endurance sports.
Previously, Josh worked as a mechanic before deciding that he wanted to help people perform to their maximum ability. Josh studied a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science at ACU before joining the Sydney Swans as a full-time performance analyst in 2020. At the completion of the 2020 season, he decided to return to study, completing a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, also at ACU.
Josh loves working with people to achieve their goals through the use of exercise, including long-term athletic development, injury rehabilitation and a range of chronic conditions. He is passionate about promoting exercise to improve both health and performance, whether it is on the field or around the house.
