BSc Physiotherapy

Position: Physiotherapist

Maddy’s journey began in country Wagga Wagga NSW, where her love for sports began on the primary school oval running around with the boys. Inspired by her love for sports and her desire to make a difference in her community she pursued physiotherapy. Maddy was lucky enough to score a soccer scholarship to Sydney university to commence her physio study then transferred to Charles Sturt university in Albury to finish her remaining years back home in the country.

Maddy has worked in a diverse range of settings including hospital acute and rehabilitation wards, hydrotherapy, aged care, NDIS, community and private practice. Maddy is particularly passionate about working with the elderly and people with a disability. She has also undergone ACL rehabilitation herself after having a stint with the Illawarra Stingrays so is enthusiastic about helping others in the same boat with their recovery.

In her spare time Maddy enjoys all activities outdoors such as attempting to surf, going for a run or hitting the gym.
