BSc Exercise Science | Master of Physiotherapy

Position: Physiotherapist

Sabine Mazzarolo, originally from Griffith NSW, moved up to the Illawarra to complete a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Wollongong and followed it up with a Master’s of Physiotherapy at UTS in Sydney.

Sabine is our energetic ball of energy! This is evidenced by her experience throughout her undergraduate degree where she was exposed to a range of sports. Spanning from Rugby union to AFL and also in helping instruct over 55 years gym classes. Inspired by the healthy change you can have on someone’s life to live as injury free as possible was the driving force for Sabine turning to a Physiotherapy career.

Growing up, Sabine was immersed in the sporting world, playing in representative teams with soccer and touch football. Travelling around the state for representative tournaments provided a range of experience for her physiotherapy career.

Young in her career, mature in her skillset. Sabine’s confidence in providing insightful education, release work and exercise prescription sees her achieve results with her clients in an appropriate timeframe.

Sabine has worked within the Illawarra with the NPL1 Women’s Stingrays club and is their lead physiotherapist for the 23/24 season. She has experience with the AFL Western Bulldogs and 4 + years of experience in Sports trainer coverage for various local soccer clubs.

In her spare time Sabine enjoys going to the gym, cooking up a new recipe and exploring the Illawarra’s hidden swim spots with her friends.
